ART SHOW

Our show in Exploded View gallery Downtown Tucson was a success!
My work is about household matters and it's based on this poem by CA Conrad:

In the Graceland kitchen you can look right into the cabinet full of dinnerware. There’s a beautiful matching set with little painted cherries or cranberries, I’m not sure which – cherries and cranberries always look the same to me. Now, if you look in the left side of the cabinet you’ll see a bowl with little painted cherries or cranberries with a chip out of the side of it. Graceland has a bowl with a chip out of the side of it! Why didn’t Elvis do something about it!?
(The Presleys at the supper table.)

ELVIS: Priscilla, can you believe this damn bowl has a chip out of the side of it?
PRISCILLA: Oh. Well, it’s still a beautiful bowl.
ELVIS: All right honey, you’re right, you’re right.
(Or maybe.)

ELVIS: Priscilla, can you believe this damn bowl has a chip out of the side of it?
PRISCILLA: Don’t you remember Darlin’, Keith Richards did that when he and Mick were here for supper?
ELVIS: Oh yeah, yeah, that’s right. Well, guess we should save it then.

(Or maybe.)

ELVIS: Priscilla, can you believe this damn bowl has a chip out of the side of it?
PRISCILLA: Where? I don’t see anything.
ELVIS: (blink, blink) Oh, okay. I swore I saw a chip out of the side of that bowl. Say Priscilla Sugar, are these damn things cherries or cranberries painted on our dinnerware?
